Crappie Fishing

Our first camp out was full of fun. Rich, Hayley, Riley, & I met up with Grandma Rosie and Grandpa Cal at CJ Strike for some great fishing. We caught many, many fish. Hayley caught the most with 20 and Riley and Grandma tied for the longest, 11 inches. We had a wonderful time even though we had many mosquitoes and plenty of ticks. Some of the highlights of the trip was Richard disappointed that somebody ran into the new bridge Idaho Power has been working so hard at improving. Even better, was when he found out Grandpa Cal was the one that ran into it. :) Another adventure was when Riley found a tick on him . . . enough said. Finally, when Grandpa Cal was crawling back into bed in the middle of the night and Richard sneakingly grabbed his foot. All I can say was it was a good thing he had already been to the bathroom. We all had lots of laughs, a few fights (picking the best fishing spot), and many many yummy crappie to eat.

HAGERMAN FOSSIL DAYS

Hagerman was full of excitement for the weekend. Both kids were in the parade. Hayley and her friends were asked to carry the fossil day banner which lead the parade through main street. Riley and his friend, Cody, decorated the go-cart and also went in the parade. It was excellent weather Saturday, great corn-dogs and elephant ears, and as always wonderful to see many many old friends.

1st Place Throw

Hayley throws 69 feet to take first place. We were all so excited.

Hayley's Track Meet

Forgive me, it has been so long since I posted. I will try not to go so long next time. This was Hayley's first track meet. She decided to trake track just to say in shape and ended up doing really well. She placed 1st place in the disc. She is now determined to beat the school record. The other picture is just of her with some of her friends hanging out at the meet. It was a great day with great weather, which is often not the case for track days.
